If you are using a Paytm UPI account then here we will tell you how to create a new UPI ID for your account and change your primary UPI ID. Please follow the step by step guide below:
Add New & Change UPI in Paytm
(Step 1) Open the Paytm application, swipe right side to open the options bar and go to “UPI & Payment Settings” as you can see in the below screenshot.
(Step 2) Next, choose “Manage UPI IDs”
(Step 3) You can see your current primary UPI ID. To create new, just click on “Add new UPI ID”
(Step 4) In Add a new UPI ID, you can select any UPI ID from the auto-generated list and proceed.
(Step 5) Great, you have successfully created a new UPI ID for your Paytm UPI account.
(Step 6) Now your new UPI ID will be your primary UPI ID. When you send money to someone or receive money in your account, this UPI ID will be displayed to others. Please note, the old UPI ID will remain active and you can’t delete or edit it. You can also share your old UPI ID with the sender to receive money. You can also remove or edit your new UPI ID anytime.
