Do you know, Bank of Baroda now lets you generate your own virtual debit card online and use it for online transactions. Yes, with the Bank of Baroda mobile banking, you can make your digital ATM/Debit card and use it for online payments. You can also manage your virtual debit card from the mobile banking application.
If you have a physical Bank of Baroda debit card then you can also create your virtual debit card to use it online. Here is the step by step process:
Generate Bank of Baroda Virtual Debit Card Online
Step 1: Login to Bank of Baroda mobile banking and go to CARDS — Virtual Debit Cards
Step 2: You can see there is no active virtual card. Tap on (+) to create your own virtual Debit card.
Step 3: Next screen, select your card variants like VISA or Rupay, set your Debit card validity (expiry year and month), and proceed. (Cardholders can set the card usage period as per their wish within the default expiry of 5 years. Please note, that once the virtual card is generated the card usage validity can not be reduced)
Step 4: Next screen, you need to confirm your request.
Step 5: Congrats, your Bank of Baroda virtual card is generated successfully. You can see your virtual debit card now.
Step 6: To view and manage your virtual debit card, go to the “Virtual Debit Cards” section. Here you can view your Debit card and its details. You can also manage your virtual debit card here like manage usage, set limit, ON/OFF your card, and also block your card. If you want a physical copy of your virtual card then you can request a physical debit card also.
