Set Custom 8-8 Digit UPI Number on GooglePay (Gpay)
Step 1: Open Google Pay (Gpay) and tap on the profile image and open the profile section.
Step 2: In the profile, tap and open the “Bank account” section where all your bank account listed.
Step 3: Next screen select your bank account for which you want to set a custom 8-9 digit UPI number and proceed.
Step 4: In the selected bank account, tap on the “Manage UPI Numbers” option.
Step 5: In the manage UPI numbers, you can see the ‘Choose your own UPI number (set an 8 or 9 digit UPI Number)” option, tap on the plus (+) button to create your custom UPI Number.
Step 6: Now enter your own choice 8 or 9 digit UPI number and click on continue.
Step 7: If your entered UPI number is available then it will be generated for you and will be linked with your UPI ID.
Step 8: Done! your custom own 8-9 digit UPI number created successfully. Now you can share this UPI number with your family and friends and receive money from any UPI application. You can also tap on the delete button to delete this custom UPI number and create a new one.
