1. SBI Cheque Book Request by SMS
Do you know you can also send an SMS and request for SBI Cheque Book? SBI Quick Banking facility enables you to get your Cheque Book through SMS. Here is how:
Register for SBI Quick:
- Type “REG<space>Account number” & send it to 092234 88888 from your registered mobile number (e.g: REG 20117373773)
Now you can request Cheque Book by sending an SMS from your registered mobile number.
- Type “CHQREQ” and send it to 092235 88888 from your registered mobile number.
After sending this SMS, you will receive an SMS from the Bank to confirm your request. Just send confirmation SMS as mentioned in the SMS. For example CHQACC Y 749793
After sending confirmation SMS, your cheque book request will be accepted and a new chequebook will be delivered to your registered address within 10 days. If you don’t use net banking/mobile banking then this SMS-based Cheque book request facility will help you.
2. Request SBI Cheque Book Online using Mobile Banking
SBI Mobile Banking app (SBI YONO Lite) is another way to apply for a new Cheque Book online. You can apply 20, 30 and 50 leaves chequebooks using SBI mobile banking. If your SBI Mobile Banking is not active, kindly install the SBI YONO Lite app from the Play Store and complete the registration process.
Login to the SBI YONO Lite mobile application.
After login, tap and open the Requests tab and select the Cheque Book option on the next screen.
Now tap on Cheque Book Request.
Finally, select your account number, select the number of Cheque Books and select the number of Cheque leaves (20, 30 or 50 leaves) & submit your request.
3. Apply SBI Cheque Book using SBI YONO
SBI YONO mobile application is another option to get your Cheque Book online without visiting the branch. You can log in to SBI YONO using net banking credentials. You can apply up to 100 leaves SBI Cheque Book using SBI YONO.
Login to the SBI YONO application.
After login, tap on Service Request.
Next screen, select Cheques option in the service request section.
Now click on the Request Cheque Book option.
And the next screen select your account number, select the number of leaves required (30,50,100) and submit your request.
4. Order SBI New Cheque Book through Net Banking
SBI Internet Banking is the best platform to access online banking services. You can manage your account and access many online services at your home. You can also order a SBI new Cheque Book through the SBI Internet banking facility.
Login to SBI Internet Banking.
After login, click on Request & Enquiries. Here you will find the Cheque Book Request option, click on it.
Next screen select your account number, select the number of leaves (25,30 or 50) and submit your request.
5. SBI Cheque Book Request through ATM
SBI customers can also request a new Cheque Book from any SBI ATM machine.
- Insert your ATM Debit card and select the Services option
- Enter your PIN Number
- Select the Cheque Book Request option
- Now select Cheque type (bearer) and cheque leaves.
