You can submit your life certificate online in SBI through the pension deva portal via video calling and also check your life certificate status online. If you are holding a pension account in SBIĀ and recently submitted your life certificate online/offline then you need to check the status of your life certificate and check whether it is accepted by the bank or rejected for some reason.

Know your SBI Life Certificate Status online
If you have an SBI pension account then you should create your account in the SBI Pension Seva portal. You can manage your pension account and also check your pension account details in this portal. You can also check your life certificate status, see how:
{1} Visit (https://www.pensionseva.sbi/) and login to your account.
{2} After login, click on “Certificate Details” select your PPO number, and hit the view button.
{3} Next screen your can view your submitted life certificate status like submission date, authorization date and validity date.
Check your SBI Life Certificate Status by login to net banking
SBI pensioners can also login to their net banking account and view their pension slip to check whether the life certificate is approved by the bank or not.
{1} When you login successfully, click on the “e-Services” and choose “Pension Slip”
{2} Next screen select your month and year.
{3} Next screen you can view the life certificate submission date and the next life certificate due date. If the due date is next year, you have successfully summited your life certificate and approved it by the bank.
So this way SBI pensioners can check their submitted life certificate status online. If you have submitted your life certificate online, then after submission within 7 days you will receive an SMS from the bank that your life certificate process and approved by the bank.
