Bank of Baroda mobile banking and net banking lets you transfer money to any bank account online using IMPS and NEFT. With IMPS you can transfer up to 5 lac per day and with NEFT you can transfer up to 20 lac. But before this, you need to add the receiver’s bank account as a beneficiary when you transfer money thru mobile banking and net banking.
So here are both mobile banking and net banking methods to add beneficiaries in Bank of Baroda for money transfers.
Add Beneficiary on Bank of Baroda Mobile Banking
[1] Sign in to your Bank of Baroda mobile banking application and you can see the “Transfer” section, select and open this section.
[2] In the transfers section, click on the (+) button and then click on the “Beneficiary Management”
[3] In the beneficiary management, click on the (+) button and click on the “NEFT/IMPS P2A” option.
[4] Next screen enter your beneficiary’s bank account details. Enter name, nickname, bank account number, account type and IFSC code and submit.
[5] Next screen you can see the preview of added bank account details, if the details are correct and then submit.
[6] On next screen enter the OTP received on your linked mobile number and transaction PIN and submit.
Congrats, the beneficiary account has been added successfully and it will be activated after 4 hours. After activation, you can transfer money to his/her bank account in the “Transfers” section. Select the Within Bank option if the beneficiary account has a Bank of Baroda account and select the “Other bank” option if the bank is different.
Add Beneficiary in Bank of Baroda thru Net Banking
[1] After login to Bank of Baroda Internet Banking, select the “Transfers” tab and then click on the “Initiate Payments” Now select the “Within Bank Transfer” option if the beneficiary has a Bank of Baroda account and select “Outside Bank Transfer” if the beneficiary account in a different bank.
[2] Next screen click on the “Add New Beneficiary”
[3] Next screen enter the beneficiary account details. Type his full name, nickname, account number, and account type, enter the IFSC code, and click on the Look Up button. After clicking on the lookup button you can see beneficiary branch details, if branch details are correct then submit.
[4] Next screen you can view added beneficiary account details and branch details. If both details are correct, enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number and transaction password and submit.
Congrats, your beneficiary account has been added and it will be available for fund transfer after 24 hours.
