SBI customers can now check their KYC status online and can know whether they need to submit KYC or not. It is mandatory to update your KYC with your SBI account otherwise your account will be locked and you can not perform any transactions.
So here we will tell you how to know whether your KYC is due or completed.
Check Your SBI KYC Status Online through Net Banking
(Step 1) The first step is login to your SBI net banking account. Open the SBI Internet banking portal (https://retail.onlinesbi.sbi/) and login.
After login, click on the “My Accounts & Profile” tab and here you can see the “Update KYC” option, just click on this option.
(Step 2) Next screen you need to select your account number and click on the submit button.
(Step 3) After selecting your account number, now you can see a popup screen and know your KYC status. If your KYC is already updated then you can see this message on the screen “Your KYC Updation is not due as of now, for further enquiries please visit the nearest Branch” So you don’t need to submit your KYC and you are already KYC complaint.
But if the pop screen shows that your account is not KYC compliant and it is pending (due) then you need to submit your KYC update request. Don’t worry you can submit it online, just follow the next steps.
So this way SBI account holders can check their KYC status online and check whether their account is KYC compliant or not.
If you have already submitted your KYC and want to check your application status then follow the same steps mentioned above. If it is showing KYC updation is not due, it means your request successfully processed.
